Durability
The same physical stand keeps moving, being packed, unpacked, adjusted, loaded, and used.
Concept for Latch Lake
One stand travels between real studios, engineers, artists, producers, and venues. Each stop adds proof that Latch Lake stands are not disposable pieces of studio furniture. They are tools that keep working.
Draft for Dave / Latch Lake review. This page is unlisted on the Bigger Boat site.
The idea
We pick one specific Latch Lake micKing 1100 and send it from person to person. Each participant shoots a few short clips of the same stand being used in a real working setup, then forwards it to the next stop.
Over time, the Instagram account becomes a record of where the stand has been, who has used it, and why robust, maintainable gear earns its place in serious rooms.
Why it fits
The same physical stand keeps moving, being packed, unpacked, adjusted, loaded, and used.
Any service, spare part, or adjustment becomes part of the story rather than a hidden after-sales detail.
The project shows Latch Lake in the places where decisions are actually made: sessions, stages, and working studios.
Format
Decisions needed
Should this be Latch Lake official, Bigger Boat-led with Latch Lake blessing, or a looser community project?
Who owns shipping, insurance, recipient approval, and any maintenance while the stand is moving?
Should the tour use a new unit, an ex-demo stand, or a named serial-numbered stand with a visible history?
Recommended: recruit the first 3-5 participants before publishing the account.
